Witches are mortals that have the ability to use magic. The magic they use varies depending on the witch — some may have elemental powers, some may have telekinesis, some may be able to manipulate blood and uses the dark arts of ancient blood magic, and some may use voodoo and others may have healing magic and be considered a ‘white witch’. The list goes on and on...every witch unique in their own way and magic is limitless.

Though, all witches have their own pros and cons…

Long ago, witches and the vampires were allies since both were outcasted, and the vampires used to help harbor the witches in safety back when witches were considered abominations, and were killed off one by one, being burned alive or hung for what they were. Quite obviously, they used to be considered beings that interacted with demons to gain their power — though...that wasn’t entirely a lie…

The very first witch centuries ago had made a deal with a powerful demon long ago, and since then was the genesis of the mortals that could manipulate magic at will.

80% of witches are female, though it is not uncommon to hear about a male witch here and there.

Some witches are more powerful than others...such as blood magic users have a higher advantage over vampires; being able to manipulate blood, even the blood within vampires and the undead. Though, they have become more rare over the years due to being hunted down and killed by the vampires for obvious reasons.

Witches would help the vampires also find refuge when needed, hiding from the sunlight for baby vampires that were turned at such an early age when finding a home to hide was difficult — and so the two factions made a deal to help one another.

Though, the witches would later discover the true potential of their power; with the use of blood magic and voodoo (or other means of magic such as necromancy), the magic users soon learned that they could even out-power the vampires…

Some greedy and power-hunger witches started to control the vampires against their will, and some even started to drain their blood to drink to gain even the vampires’ powers and abilities - to become stronger. Of course, this angered the vampires as some started to turn against the magic users.

In return, the witches started to even take the vampires’ immortality against them with the use of voodoo; some very ancient rituals soon took place to reverse a vampire’s immortality; and unluckily a vast amount of vampires died by rotting away until the true death before the curse was later reverted back by force.

Since then, Cain ordered that Vampires and Witches were no longer allies...and instead would rather eradicate all magic users of any sort so that there is no longer a threat against his kind.

When around a witch, vampires will at times wear charms that can ward off a magic user to help protect them from any form of magic. However, that is the only form of protection a vampire may use against a witch.

A witch is considered an “evil-good” faction; since they only mean to harm the vampires, and no other faction unless they become an issue or get in their way of their one true goal.

All witches, like the vampires, will eventually belong to Hades or Hell since their origin started with a mortal making a deal with a demon long ago...such is the price for power.

The Witches may only be mortals; any immortal may not become a witch unless other specified and asked with permission and given a story on why they are immortal.

Positions Available

  • Head Role — The head role of the Witches will be that similar to Cain of the vampires. The head witch will be the leader of all magic users within the world. This Witch in particular will be the strongest. However, this witch will also be the most known witch to be hunted down by Cain. Be advised.

  • Secondary Roles — these include a witch within a group being in charge of specific areas (such as a state within the US, or prefecture in Japan, etc of your choice anywhere in the world). However, these witches may only be the head of groups as well, and are only allowed to be “Lead” magic users- no “new” witches are allowed to take a leadership role.

  • Non-leadership roles — Simply the lower class witches/magic users.

  • Rogue Roles — Of course, some witches may not wish to side with the rest of the faction, and may even go as far as to betray their own kind. You would then be considered a ‘rogue’ witch or magic user.

** If you are wanting to make another new group of witches/magic users; please DM me and we can discuss this further. **

**Another Note: The Necronomicon (for anyone that chooses to be a necromancer) is currently in the possession of a powerful necromancer, Thanatos. Though he is not the leader of that group, he is rather powerful, probably the second most powerful necromancer alive within this world. Keep this in mind! **
