The Fae are a very important faction; having rather unique abilities that can be more powerful than any other faction - including the vampires at times when used properly with practice over time - and are a pure group of beings with absolute good intentions….most of the time, at least.

You see, the faeries of this world have very enticingly sweet and addictive blood to the vampires; just as vampire blood is to other creatures — mortals and immortals alike. Though, faerie blood only affects vampires, being almost a drug to only them. No other creature or being gets any benefits from drinking fae blood.

Fae blood can increase a vampire’s strength and powers, and can even allow them to walk under the sunlight for a period of time depending on how much fae blood had been consumed. This can be frightening, especially if one, such as Cain, were to get a hold of a faerie.

How unlucky that would be...for other factions.

The Faeries do have a solitude, a refuge...as they have their very own realm they can escape to. This realm has constant sunlight, and has no such thing as ‘night’ or a moon there — Selene is not allowed or ever welcome in their realm. It is not even possible for another creature to enter this realm, unless they have permission to do so by another faerie, almost like the idea that a vampire cannot enter a mortal’s home unless they have been welcomed.

However, if a vampire were to somehow make his or her way into this realm, It is a new realm with new gods and goddesses; the curse that affects the vampires does not affect them there. And so, with that being said, the sun there does not burn a vampire’s flesh.

the Fae realm is everything pure; the food, the air, the people, and their intentions.

Once a vampire enters that realm; it is without a doubt that chaos would break loose, and Hell would soon take place.

Fae blood, to a vampire, is unlike any other blood. It is extremely sweet, and highly addictive. Even if a vampire wanted to keep a faerie alive...it would be hard to do so. Once a vampire is lucky enough to have fae blood touch his or her tongue, it would be rather difficult to stop drinking until every last drop of the faerie is entirely drained.

However, vampire blood to a faerie is toxic, and can even be fatal if consumed. Unfortunately, a faerie may never be able to know the pleasures of how wondrous vampire blood can be.

The Fae have power over light - not sunlight. At times, if they have enough power to do so, a fae can manipulate light and use it against a vampire to ward them off for a period of time; light affects every vampire differently. As mentioned before, some vampires are weak to light, and others are not. Do keep in mind that the light the fae possess is not sunlight, and so it is not as fatal as such. But it is at least something.

To a vampire, touching a fae can leave a tingly sensation, almost like touching the sun, but in a nice and pleasing manner that is not harmful. As you can imagine, every vampire will kill to be able to touch the warmth of the sun upon their skin once again. These beings are everything a vampire has ever wanted.

A blessing, a curse, a drug, a desire; everything good and bad all in one.

Long ago, the vampires had almost drained all the faeries; only a handful are left…

This makes this faction extremely rare, and special. There will only be a few of these creatures left in this world - and are considered a rare treasure.

...Or treat.

The Faeries are in constant hiding to ensure their safety from the vampires; or any other faction willing to hand them over to the vampires in return for something - whatever that may be.

Their goal, as of right now, is to stay safe and are quietly planning on how to eradicate the vampires. It is rumored that they are planning to side with the Witches to help them, as they have a common enemy and both have the same wishes.

There is only two Fae bloodlines, with only two separate leaders in this world. All other faeries have been killed off by the vampires centuries ago. The two and single bloodlines there are will be is the Ellyllon. and the Gwyllion This faction will be rather small in numbers, and hard to join due to this reasoning. If you wish to be a faerie in this world, DM first before making an OC!

Positions Available

Head Role — The head role of the Fae will be that similar to Cain of the vampires. The head Faerie will be the leader of all the fae within the world. This lycan in particular will be the strongest.
Non-leadership roles — Simply the Fae that is not the lead faerie; these faeries will be under the guidance of the head Faerie, and will protect him/her at all costs.
Rogue Roles — Of course, some Fae may not wish to side with the rest of the faction, and may even go as far as to betray their own kind. You would then be considered a ‘rogue’ faerie and will be entirely outcasted and unwelcome within the Fae Realm.
Dark Fae — If one is considered a ‘dark’ fae, then they are unable and entirely unwelcome to enter the Fae Realm. These creatures are worse off than even the rogue Fae that have betrayed their own kind; these faeries were born dark, with evil intentions. The sunlight in the Fae realm will even burn their flesh, as regular sunlight burns a vampire’s flesh. They want nothing but to create chaos. These dark fae are cannibalistic, and even eat the ‘light’ faeries, having a taste for their flesh. More so than often, these faeries will use their charm to get what they want. These Fae are able to consume vampire blood, and just as fae blood is just as addictive to the vampires, the blood of a vampire is addictive to them. It is unknown what the origins to a Dark Fae is, but some suggest a faerie long ago had made a deal with a demon to be such a vile being of the dark, probably to side with the vampires in fear of dying off at some point if nothing had been done about it.
