“Yes, we are demons. There’s no way we could understand our prey; a human’s sense of taste. What we understand...is the taste of a human’s soul.

Come dance with your inner demons.

Let us in. And let is lead.

And as soon as we take charge…

We’ll make you bleed.

So soft, as soft as an angel.

Oh, but [you] can love with the fury of a demon.~

We know what you want. Your desires, your personal temptation - everyone is unique.

The blood you carry is as red as a delicate rose’s petals; the vampires should know, do they not already?

The violets are dead, withered away and decaying.

The deamons will run in circles around [you]; never-ending will we speak to you with silent pleasures inside your head.

You fear us; yet...if you allow yourself to become so consumed...you will eventually become the very monster you fear awaken within you.

Everyone dies eventually. Even those that call themselves immortal. A true death approaches. Oh, and how sweet it will be when the tables are turned.”~

The demons in this world are far more evil than even the vampires; even the vampires (including Cain) fear the demons, since their souls belong to them. After the True Death, whenever that may be for each individual vampire or dhampire, will sooner or later be collected by the demon that owns their soul.

Within this universe, all demons are exceedingly vile and corrupt, only wishing to collect souls of the pure, the damned, and everything in between. Not only do they wish for more souls to enter Hell to further increase their numbers, but their form of entertainment is watching and creating chaos on Earth — it wouldn’t be a lie saying the demons had a part in participating in creating the current ongoing war between the three major factions.

The vampires were created after Ambrogio made a deal with Hades long long ago to forever be with Selene, his beloved.

The Witches were created long ago when a mortal made a deal with a demon for power; though nobody is entirely sure why a mortal would make such a deal - though a human is a human, and humans always seek power and immortality, wealth, and so on…

Demons have already been the sole cause to two of the main factions having been created long ago...and since then was the genesis of true chaos. The equilibrium between good and bad had been off scale for centuries due to their actions.

Being creatures of temptation, demons feed off sin: desire, lust, gluttony, greed, pride, sorrow, vanity, slothery, anger, and aggression.

Demons can help satiate their appetite temporarily from human food on Earth, however a demon must at some point feed from a sin from a mortal or immortal. Humans are best to feed for greed, pride, anger, slothery and vanity, however the vampires are absolute gold when it comes to lust, sorrow, and aggression.

Since angels are pure, a demon cannot feed from an angel; though fallen angels are another story.

Demons may come in all shapes and forms; not all are scary — in fact, they’d be the opposite more so than often. A demon is everything a mortal or even in some cases, immortals desire most. They are beautiful, sinful, desirable.

Though, some demons are the most terrifying thing you may ever lay your eyes upon and will forever torment [you] with never-ending nightmares.

If a vampire tries to feed from a demon, they will immediately become fatally ill, and death may even be a result from feeding off a demon if a vampire doesn’t tend to the poison they had consumed; a demon’s blood feels like consuming acid that feeds off the flesh from the inside out; literally taking the vampire in — emotions and all. Temporarily, the demon can get a glimpse of said vampire’s memories, emotions, desires, and sorrow, even though it was the vampire that fed from the demon (accidentally, no doubt). If left untreated, a vampire can die within a day's time; give or take.

A demon’s blood is a black as night, bubbles like sizzling water, and is as thick as tar.

The thickness of the blood makes it difficult for the vampire to completely digest the poisonous blood, allowing the demon to slowly feed from the vampire from the inside in one of the most painful manners possible.

If a vampire dies from demonic blood; that vampire will become that said demon’s property once their immortal soul enters Hell or Hades.
