Vampires are creatures of the night — though not always.

Each vampire clan (or bloodline) is rather unique in their own way. Such as the Ambrogio clan deriving from the moon and was given life by Selene herself, when others were created by other means. All in all, the “true” vampires are the ones that derive from that specific clan - others after that have been created afterwards, such as the Marquis or the Combiere clans (and all others, basically), have very diluted vampiric blood and doesn’t even carry the same blood as Ambrogio or Selene at all.

Some bloodlines are even mixed with demonic blood, such as the LE'Doux bloodline, and can even very well be more powerful than other clans depending. Vayne, the leader to the LE'Doux bloodline, is half demonic; unlike all other vampires, his soul is not bound to Hades or Hell. Instead, Vayne rules his own circle of Hell and will even be ruler of fallen vampires after they finally die.

Some vampires walk only in the night, as some may be able to walk in the sunlight — all vampires other than the Ambrogio clan have at least some resistance to sunlight; whether they slowly burn or not at all since the curse doesn’t exactly affect them as much; if at all.

As of right now, the Ambrogio clan is the leading bloodline, and the head of the vampires — and currently winning the war between the three major factions, the Vampires, Werewolves, and Witches.

However, there are also those born or created as only “half bloods”; being a mixture of vampiric and other blood, whether that be human or something else entirely. These are called “Dhampires” - and all have their own strengths and weaknesses, though one major strength they have against the vampires, is that since the curse affects them so vaguely, they are able to walk in the sunlight and a lot of the times are even able to consume human food. They are perfect to blend in with the humans, and you can never tell the two apart. However, Dhampires are not considered true vampires, and so they are more often pushed aside as outcasts.

The Vampires are considered an “evil” group within the universe, because they only care about themselves, and consider everyone else to be cattle. Being creatures of immortality, the vampires wish to become the leading faction to rule the world, and wish to come out of hiding to show their true power and what they are capable of. Humans are very little to them, and it’s pathetic in the eyes of the vampires that currently the humans reign control of the earth.

Positions Available

  • Secondary leadership roles — these include a vampire clan being in charge of specific areas (such as a state within the US, or prefecture in Japan, etc of your choice anywhere in the world). However, these vampires may only be head of vampire bloodlines as well, and are only allowed to be “elder” vampires - no “baby” vampires are allowed to take a leadership role.

  • Prodigy/Subordinate — These vampires work very closely with the leader(s) of the clans, or even for the head vampire himself, Cain. their role is to protect and assist the vampire assigned to them at all costs, and will always be at their side most of the time, at least. These roles act as an assistant, or even a servant at times...but later, it is them who will eventually take leadership of that clan if anything ill were to befall that specific leader — basically heirs to that assigned bloodline.

  • Non-leadership roles — Simply the lower class vampires that are not yet elders.

  • Rogue Roles — Of course, some vampires/dhampires may not wish to side with the rest of the faction, and may even go as far as to betray their own kind. You would then be considered a ‘rogue’ vampire/dhampire.

Vampire Clans and their leaders — From top to bottom is the strongest to the weakest in terms of vampiric blood and powers.

** The Draconin & Carthic Bloodlines will not be a part of this SL as of right now until further notice.

Cain is the head vampire, almost like the king of all vampires within this world. All vampires must obey Cain, and his word is law among this faction. There is a hierarchy among the vampires. Keep this in mind. From top to bottom, is the chain of command within the major bloodlines created.

** If you are wanting to make another clan with a new leader, please come to me in DMs and we may discuss this further. **

** Another note; If you choose to be Dracula (or any other name for the Vlad Bloodline) for the clan 'Vlad', then be aware you will have a son! Nerio is the son of Dracula (or once again, if you choose to have another name, so be it). Just so you are aware, you must be an elder vampire! And a father.**

** If you choose to be the leader of the clan 'Faust', then once again, you will have a son, Anastasio Faust. Remember this! Once again, you must be an elder vampire to take this lead role.**

Becoming a Prodigy/Subordinate

So you want to become a prodigy for a leader of a vampire clan? Or at least curious on how that even works?

A prodigy is someone that will serve their “master” or “creator”; mainly by protecting them, and learning what it takes to eventually take over the bloodline, or be second in demand over time. It may seem like you are nothing at first, but a prodigy is a very important role...as they - whoever they may be - will become a leader at some point in their lives.

Their role is to understand what it takes to carry such a title. Their creator/master is almost like a father/mother figure, and must obey them. Going against their creator/master is punishable, even by death depending on the circumstance.

A prodigy and their creator/master carry a unique bond with one another, and the creator will always know the location of their prodigy no matter how far the distance. As goes for danger; their creator will be able to sense if their prodigy is in any form of danger.

The two (or more) will act as a family of sorts. A prodigy is extremely precious to their creator/master. There will be no abuse between them — in fact, the two will protect one another at all costs.

A vampire cannot become a prodigy; only one that carries the same blood as the creator/master can become a prodigy - so they must be mortal turned into a vampire. Having one’s mortal life taken away is the ultimate price for this position — anyone immortal may not take on becoming a subordinate.

A vampire may not take in a witch or lycan.

If one is an angel, demon, etc will no longer be an angel, demon, etc. If anyone that is other than human, will then rid themselves of that title; or become “mixed” blooded with the two.

If, for example, Cain turns you into a prodigy of his, then you will then carry the Ambrogio blood through [your] veins, and then will proceed to carry the same curse as his bloodline. Same goes for another bloodline. If Vayne does the same, then you will carry his blood, etc with each bloodline; meaning (with Vayne) [you’ll] then become half-demonic, etc.

Think carefully if you wish to become a prodigy!!

Get to know the leader of a specific bloodline first before wishing to become a prodigy.
