Let me introduce my character, Vincent. He's been a character floating around Twitter for quite a while now, and has a very extensive history considering I keep every interaction he's had canon.

So let's get started.

Long ago, and I mean quite a fuckin' long time...

In 1970,

It was when Vincent was stolen from the world and his life and done a complete one-eighty. The free-spirited and untamed rich boy was kidnapped and never to be seen again, despite many searches and a long-dragging investigation. Many things were going on during these times, including a boom in technology. While to the public, it only meant their first moon landing or the introduction to casual use of computers, it was unknown that somewhere, the interest in testing what limits there were to this were ongoing, and that this technology was being tested on humans.

Vincent had undergone experiments that enhanced features such as his vision, strength, and ability to heal rapidly. There were vision augmentation, as well as a dramatic decline in his aging. Vincent had spent seven long years seeing labs and white coats, until the experiments started to become much more exerting, and soon it wasn't just physical, but psychological. The limits of his mind were tested, and it wasn't long before he had become this genius. As though the white coats could see the flaw in their own design, they have also attempted to take control over Vincent's will as well.

Finally however, given the time to adapt to the rigorous torment, Vincent had planned and successfully outsmarted his captors and escaped. Barely.

The next chapter in his life takes place where he grew up; In New York. He was an outsider, and everything was nothing that he remembered. The 70's had introduced much individuality, and the world's pace seemed never-ending now.

Vincent was in love with this new world.

Music birthed itself in many genres and artists from many branches seemed more interesting than the last. He wanted to pursue a career surrounded with this, and his occupation; inventing.

Along the lines of this, he slowly began to notice these little details...

He couldn't grow too comfortable around anyone, he never allowed himself to trust anyone, and night terrors would have him wake in sweat. He soon began to grow paranoid that he was always being watched, as though his daily regime would be of any interest to anyone, and started to grow more anti-social over the next year. His income slowed, and soon found himself in tough situations.

Even with this induced paranoia, he had made at least one friend, but it was a friend lost because his suspicions had been reality.

As though not having a family to return to was hard enough, his only friend was murdered, found in his apartment with the life already gone from him and his tormentors standing over the body.

Vincent did the only thing he could think to do, and ran.

His dismal journey landed him far away from it all, in the UK. He found a new job repairing junk for the residents of Wiltshire. Even though a beautiful town, he lived on the outskirts, where he found the dirt roads and a small little home to make his own. IT was how he lived, and was also where he found himself at an all time low. Reminiscing on life, how his young adult life was taken from him, how his family were taken, his sanity ever-fading, and his friend gone, he only strove for what  was good enough, and never set the standard higher than that. Eventually it was like surviving was just becoming complicatedly vexing, given his new life-span, and after he was found a second time, barely even gave chase.

It wasn't the bullet wound. but his wild awareness that sent him to his knees on the pavement as he gave up.

But it wasn't the white coats that got to him first, it was a vampire.

Vincent's exotic blood had attracted the cultured and sharp Sven Sullivan. While not being a vampire that acts upon impulse, Vincent was given an ultimatum;Live and allow himself to be a source of blood, given the variant properties, and in turn he is guaranteed safety- or be drained then left to be taken.

Vincent had decided life.

Sven was the first real change, and even though the vampire was very cliche to the films, being the powerful being he was, wealthy, and blood-thirsty...

It just was difficult for Vincent to perceive him that way.

The two grew very close over time.

It is 2017 now, and Vincent is sixty-seven. He still appears to be in his twenties, and there had only been a single incident with the white coats. But as his memory serves him, it was a very close call.

See, in the lab, the white coats had brainwashed Vincent to a degree, and during the small battle between supernatural strength and the power of technological weapons, Vincent mind was subdued by a series of images, which had him at the mercy of the enemy. They had  sent Vincent after Sven. He was no match, obviously, to the vampire, but their love was the weakness being played. It had left Sven terribly injured, and it was shortly after this that the two decided to turn Vincent, in hopes that the change in chemistry would help Vincent better protect himself in the future, or if ever, to aid Sven in future battles.  years later, Vincent had that overbearing paranoia again.

So he did what he does best and left without so much of a goodbye. Sven would have tried to deter his decision.

Vincent could only think of a single place he wanted to be; New York.

Things have changed a lot, again.

Good, it's time for a new start..

Again.

Vincent isn't a very easy character to interact with, and I find it difficult to remain in a storyline if the plot isn't engaging. What I mean by this;

Just be creative, rather than going with the flow of the story. Make surprises, make drama, or conflict. I like to write scenes that can be very real, and a forever love story isn't what I'm searching for. I don't do just the whole "Ship my character with yours and they're so cute with each other OMG" thing. I role-play 18+, for the reason that Vincent is a very colorful individual with sensitive material.
